I believe in the old fashion "Golden Rule". Treat people like you want to be treated!! I have two hobbies that keep me going all the time. They are riding my "Harleys" and playing golf. i don't know where to start. i'll just throw out some ideas for now:

- i always notice grammar errors, but i try to not be a dick about it. and yeah, i realize that not using capitals is an error in itself, but nobody's perfect.

Life is good but I think it might be even better if shared with someone.

At one point I took in two teenage girls. So, I now have two grown daughters, one absolutely perfect granddaughter and another grandchild on the way. I intend for my children and grandchildren to stay an important part of my life.

So here I am. I'm a working artist, a writer, and I've studied acting for nearly 6 years. I'm currently work two jobs, one at an art studio called Hack Shack Studios and the other at a local Target so I don't have much time to go out and meet people.

Personality wise I've been described as low key. I like to watch people and figure out why they do what they do so often I am quite when you fist meet me in a group but by no means does that mean I am shy. I have no problems talking to anyone about anything. I'm very opinionated and I usually have facts to back them up. I have a sarcastic since of humor that my friends have described as "sarcasm with a smile." I can be obsessive at time with tasks to the point where I shut out all physically input. umm...yeah. i'm pretty much a ten year old who drinks and has a license. i watch cartoons, play video games, draw dinosaurs, ride my bike and like naps. i spend a lot of time with my friends, playing board games, drinking and watching cheesy movies. used to be a party animal, i've mellowed a bit, still party once in a while when we get the gang together. i'm 6'2 and 245lbs and content with it.

I've written two of these things, re-read them and hated both. I made myself sound like an idiot. I'm really not, trust me. I'll try again but I have a bad feeling about this...

I think of myself as a creative guy. Art, film, music. Kid at heart with varied tastes. Love Annie Hall as much as I love Star Wars. Love Sushi as much as KFC hot wings. Will flip back and forth between football and Grey's Anatomy.

Now the list of minor accomplishments and interests: I have an art degree from Cal State Fullerton(Hence the regular day job completely unrelated to the arts), shown paintings and videos/short films at local galleries/theatres around LA and OC, I've been in bands, and started on-line comic books.

Well that didn't seem to bad. I know I'll read it in a couple days and erase the whole thing.

My name's Matthew Stephens. I work at Northrop Grumman building the FA-18 Super Hornet (Fighter Jet). I work quite a bit but I work second shift so I get off at a good time if you like late nights. I am pretty active. I work out at the gym at my work. I have a dog named Nikki, she is a black labrador and austrailian shepard mix. She is 11 and my first dog so she means quite a bit to me. My hobbies are cars! I was an intern at McKenna Porsche and BMW. I love doin car stereos, i've done my own work on each of my cars. I have done work on friends cars and even had a couple in car shows. Nothin big, just local shows but it feels great when people comment on them and recognize the effort put into it. I currently drive a 2006 Scion XB. doesn't sound like much but it has a manual transmittion that gets me 38 mpg which means alot when you drive 52 miles monday-friday (sometimes saturday) for work. I currently have a couple tattoos. A Gargoyle on my right arm and the Ninja Turtles on my left forearm. YES I said Ninja Turtles. i plan on getting more but bills always come first. I'm looking for a girl who likes hangin out with her man. whether it be just hangin at home or goin to the club or the movies.

Like most people, I'd like to help to make the world a better place. In my case, I guess that comes down to figuring out what that means. It's great to have ideas: I certainly do. But lots of people have had ideals, and sometimes those ideals aren't so great. I want to figure out what the good ideals are, and separate them from the not so good. I guess I'd call myself a pragmatic idealist.
